The Oakley Sphaera Glasses are built around a straightforward premise: a high-performance sport sunglass that stays put, breathes well, and works across a wide range of conditions. The 8-base lens wrap sits close to the face for strong peripheral coverage without the tunnel-vision effect of flatter designs, and an integrated front vent channels airflow across the lens during hard efforts to manage heat and prevent fogging. For cycling, that combination secure fit, open sightline, active ventilation covers the core demands of the sport without sacrificing the durability and optical quality that make a sunglass worth riding in day after day.
The O-Matter frame keeps weight down while handling the structural demands of a wrap-around design. Unobtainium nose pads and molded-in ear socks handle the fit: Unobtainium grip increases with moisture, so the Sphaera holds position through sweaty efforts rather than sliding down the nose at the worst possible moment. The helmet compatibility is intentional the frame profile is designed to clear helmet retention systems cleanly, which matters for any rider who doesn’t want to swap glasses every time the helmet goes on. Eleven lens and color variants are stocked at RA, spanning PRIZM Road, PRIZM Road Jade, PRIZM Sapphire, PRIZM 24K, PRIZM Trail Torch, PRIZM Ruby, PRIZM Tungsten, PRIZM Black, and a Clear Photochromic option enough range to cover anything from full-sun road rides to mixed-light trail riding to variable weather.

Design Benefits
- Front vent for active airflow: The integrated front vent moves air across the lens during hard efforts, managing heat buildup and reducing fogging a specific advantage for cycling and running where exertion generates sustained heat.
- 8-base wrap for peripheral coverage: The high-wrap profile follows the curvature of the face, extending the sightline laterally without the visual distortion that comes with flatter lenses. More of what’s around you stays in view.
- Unobtainium no-slip fit: The nose pads and ear socks grip more firmly as you sweat, holding the frame position through long rides and hard efforts when a sliding sunglass becomes a genuine distraction.
- Helmet compatible: The frame profile is designed to work with cycling helmet retention systems no awkward pressure points or forced repositioning when you put a helmet on.
- PRIZM lens range: Eleven variants cover the full spectrum of riding conditions. Road-specific options enhance asphalt contrast and traffic signals; trail options boost depth perception in variable tree cover; the photochromic version adapts automatically to changing light.
- Complete in the box: Hard case, microfiber cleaning bag, and a bonus nose pad are all included no extra purchases to get the fit dialed.
